Catherine McGowan is a Registered nurse/midwife currently working as Nurse Educator and Project Manager for Family Planning Australia’s International program. Cathy has extensive experience in many aspects of cervical cancer prevention over her career, including providing all methods of screening, colposcopy, treatment, clinic management, clinical education, development of learning programs, research, policy and service improvement. Cathy has a Master’s in Public Health from the University of Manchester, multiple post graduate qualifications and has maintained and enjoyed a clinical role for over 30 years in a variety of sexual and reproductive health settings.
