Dennis Thomas
Dennis Thomas is a final year PhD student based at the Centre for Medicine Use and Safety at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Monash University. His PhD project is focused on system change interventions for improving smoking abstinence rate in hospitalised patients. He is supported by an Australian Postgraduate Award- Industry through an ARC Linkage grant.
Dennis obtained his BPharm and master’s degree in pharmacy practice from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, India. Before commencing PhD he worked with a pharmaceutical company in India as an Assistant Manager in clinical research, where his role was to design and conduct clinical trails in different therapeutical areas.
