    Linda is an Oncology social worker in for the last 30 years in  South Africa  and ovarian cancer suvivor  for 24 years 
She has a passion for oncology and has dedicated her life to the development of psycho oncology in South Africa some of her career highlights are :
•	Development and pioneering I Can Cope / Hoping is Coping Program for cancer patients and families in South Africa.
•	Attended and presented at many  International conference in the USA and in Europe re cancer care in 1999, 20012004,2005 ,2007, 2009 & 2010 
•	Launched the First Cancer Survivors day in South Africa in 2000 and this day is now natinaly being celebrated and on the National Health Agenda annualy 
•	Member of the AOSW in the USA
•	Co-Founder of the South African Oncology Social Work Forum in 2000 
•	Co-founder and Director  of Cancer NGO People Living with Cancer  .(www.plwc.org.za)
•	Cancer advocate and  on organizing committee of the first Cancer Survivor Forum held in South Africa  in May -2011
