Carolina Espina
Dr Carolina Espina works as scientist at the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) based in Lyon, in the Environment and Radiation Section. She has been coordinating the update of the European Code Against Cancer, a science-based public health-oriented project grounded in primary and secondary prevention of cancer. Previously, she worked at the World Health Organization in Switzerland and the Pan-American Health Organization in Peru, managing projects related to cancer prevention, environmental health and sustainable development.
