Riaz Alvi is the Director of Epidemiology and Performance Measurement at the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency. He is also a Community Faculty Member with the University of Saskatchewan’s College of Medicine. He has undergraduate degrees in Physiology and Sociology and a Masters of Science degree in Community Health and Epidemiology. Riaz has worked at the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency as an epidemiologist for the past 14 years and as Director for eight years. His interests include; cancer surveillance, performance and outcomes measurement, patient reported outcomes, health equity, and cancer in indigenous populations.
